Mark went to a local engineering school and eventually got a job in Indiana, which is where we got to meet and know them. We knew he wasn’t happy in Indiana though and that he always wanted to move overseas.
Yesterday he told us that he and his wife are moving to England. Not only does the university he attended provide schooling but it also provides great Engineering Jobs, he told us. He and his wife are excited about their move. We’re not so sure we are. Oh, we’re happy for them, sure, but we will certainly miss getting together with them as we had been doing regularly.
Once a month or so we would get together and play cards, or just sit and chat and now we won’t be able to do that, we told them. Fortunately there is always the ability to email each other. We can at least keep in touch that way.
